As the vice president of Austin Best Events and its sister company, JHL, Jessica earned the trust and commitment of countless brands, individuals, professional associations and non-profit organizations. She works to execute large-scale events with extreme precision under infinite pressure while maintaining a resilience in fundraising that is unparalleled. Her composure and dedication carries though into her additional client work for charitable organizations. She is equally talented and excels in strategic planning, communications and client relations.
She currently serves as Austin Best Events’ lead on the Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M) event, where she executes the annual multiple stakeholder events with unflappable finesse. This, coupled with her impeccable attention to detail, allows Jessica to deliver memorable experiences for clients and guests alike. Jessica’s roster of successful events also includes planning and directing the tradition of Texas Governor for a Day celebrations, which includes multi-site logistics, media coordination and cooperation between numerous state and city agencies. In conjunction with all of this experience, Jessica’s strengths are highlighted through her ability to take an event from beginning to end and see to it that the brand recognition and targeted involvement align to create a perfect event launch.
Although you often see her running high-profile celebrity events and highly publicized fundraisers, Jessica also brings a wealth of experience in community engagement events and educational event planning. She transformed a professional organization’s annual conference, which included more than 40 individual education sessions, from a stress point to envied achievement. Under Jessica’s guidance, conference attendance leapt from 300 attendees to more than 700 in only two years, swapping an annual financial loss for a gain.
Always in motion, Jessica expertly transitions from steering fabulous events to enjoying time with her husband, two children and friends. She volunteers as a CASA advocate and assists the Junior League of Austin and Women’s Fund of Central Texas through leadership roles. Jessica has also served the CACTX-Women of Courage, Cheyanna’s Champions for Children, Con Mi MADRE, Dell Children’s Council and the Women’s Symphony League.
