To execute a flawless and memorable “Welcome to Austin” party in conjunction with a national association meeting. The event had to balance the desires of hundreds of national attendees along with the strategic goals of four separate underwriters. Taking place during a multi-day meeting agenda, the event needed aggressive planning and promotion to yield the goals of 700 brand-desired attendees.


Although JHL was hired just three weeks before the event with only a venue solidified, we quickly designed event plans that balanced multiple stakeholders’ desires with a maximum attendee draw and exposure. Our team managed the communication across all four sponsors and developed a venue-complementing event theme, incorporating all experience, décor, food and entertainment. Our team focused on strategic sponsorship recognition throughout the event, which we executed through design, takeaways and signage. Our efforts created an unforgettable, positive brand experience for current and potential clients, associates and colleagues. The party was well received by more than 1,000 guests – exceeding original attendance goals – and the sponsors were thrilled with the results.
